We are proud to have been closely associated with Cleveland, a world famous leader in the manufacture and supply of cutting tools since they first set up their UK operations in Peterhead in 1957.
Since that time the name has become synonymous with high quality and a reputation for a rapid response to customer requirements. Cleveland has recently become part of the newly formed Kennametal Hertel EDG group - a subsidiary company of the global Kennametal Hertel group that specialises in an all encompassing range of metal cutting tools and systems.
The Cleveland brand name covers a programme of High Speed Steel Twist Drills, Reamers, Toolbits, Taps and Dies in Fractional and Metric sizes.
Drill types include Jobber, Stub, Long Series, Parabolic Flute, Taper Shank and specialist drills for the Automotive and Aerospace industries in Cobalt HSS with TiN, TiCN and TiALN coatings for improved performance. HSS Reamers are available in many types together with a range of Chucking Reamers in HSS Cobalt material.
The range of Toolbits consists of Round, Square and Rectangular patterns in Fractional and Metric sizes in standard HSS and HSS Cobalt. The Tap range includes a specialist programme of HI Tech Taps for threading exotic alloys & aerospace materials. These are colour coded, which enables the machinist to select the correct Tap for the job in hand which is detailed on specialist threading charts. Standard Taps, Taps to DIN specification - and Fluteless Roll Taps and range of Circular Dies in Metric Unified, BSW, BSF and BA threads compliment the full threading range.
